Snakes on a Lane Strike in Week 1 – The off-skeeson was filled with rumors and rumblings about people jumping teams, super teams forming, and free-agents coming back from past seasons. When it was all said and done, Steve, Coozie and Joanne decided to stick together for another season and the chemistry is already showing. Pinball and Coozie rolled career highs on the same night and led Snakes on a Lane to a new team record 1083. Incredible start to the season. I hope these guys can keep the ball rolling (get it!?) all season long and make a run at the Championship. No team loves skeeball more than these guys and watching Coozie ball tears of joy would be pretty amazing.
On another note, what happen to Everett? The kid needs a sports psychology therapist stat. This guy was unstoppable for the better part of 5 seasons. All you heard was Derek or Everett. They were 1 and 1a (both argued that they were the #1 overall roller). Steve has been a close 3rd for a few seasons, but I’m ready to move him ahead of them both. Yup, that just happened. PINBALL!
