Rookie Ross Wakes Up

Rookie Ross Wakes Up and breaks 300 two consecutive weeks.  About freaking time!  Ever since the first email exchange with this Rookskee, I knew he was going to be good at skeeball (even though the 191 in Week 1 had me second guessing myself).

Sometimes you can just tell how competitive a person is via email and Ross certainly fit the bill.  Within the first 3 or 4 emails he was already talking about a team name and the production of uniforms.  Ross even asked if the machines were available to practice on since he had not rolled since his Chuck-E-Cheese glory days.  How could you not love this kid already? (Well, the t-shirt in the above picture is of a team I can’t stand, so much so that I refuse to even type their name in this email.  It’s the same school Ross attended college.  Don’t know who I am talking about?  They just got their butts kicked by Ohio State… 12-0 Ohio State.  BOOM!)  Sorry, I just couldn’t help myself.  Anyways…

Then, Super Skeeroes busted out “Rookie” tattoos.  I don’t like to pick favorites, but these guys are certainly at the top of the list of my favorite new rookskee teams.  Ross, Andrew and Blake are currently fighting for a playoff spot on Wednesday nights.  Not only do I think these guys will make the playoffs, I think they have a great shot at pulling off a first round victory.  Better watch out Vets, these rookskees are coming for you!
